Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Gone Girl

By Gillian Flynn

Marriage can be a real killer. This is an un- put-down-able masterpiece about marriage gone terribly, terribly wrong. Gone Girl will draw you in and keep you reading with the force of pure addiction, but nasty addiction, according to The Washington Post. Gone Girl’s toxic mixture of sharp-edged wit along with deliciously, chilling prose, creates a nerve-wracking thriller that confounds you at every turn. Amy disappears, and her husband, Nick, is accused. Is he the abductor that caused her disappearance or the killer? Trouble is, if Nick didn’t do it, then who did or where is she? Is Amy dead or alive? What was left in that silvery gift box hidden in the back of her closet?

Book Club will meet on October 9, 2014 in the Library at 2:30 for our chat and chew to discuss Gone Girl.
